MOTHER OF THE FOREST'S FUCK THE UNIVERSE TUESDAY'S eftersom tisdagar är den tristaste dagen i veckan så släpper mother of the forest en låt varje tisdag i fem veckor från och med den femte juni för att rädda sommaren från trista tisdagar. tuesdays are the most boring day of the week, but to save the summer from boring tuesdays mother of the forest will release one track evry tuesday for five weeks, the first track will be released june fifth.

Mother of the forest is back. I could not separate from the project. Sometime during the recording of "young punk" i broke . I did not feel so good back then and i could not handle the recording sessions. I have realised that i cant live without Mother of the forest, it's my way to deal with life. Now im working with finishing the recording of "Young punk". Young Punk will hopefully be released this spring. Im glad to be back. / Erik Hilding Lahti

........And after some fights with Periferin, They won and are forcing me to release Young Punk with Mother Of The Forest. But im not going to let it be a big deal. Im going to relese it unmastered and pretty lo-fi. The songs that are on Young punk dont need good sound, they are good. But thats the last thing you'll ever hear from Mother Of The forest. Ankarkronan is way much better, So fuck Mother Of The Forest!

And yes there will be a Ankarkronan release in 2012, somehow. Its the last year on earth so why not.......Fuck earth. Ankarkronan is way much better than earth. 

Mother Of The Forest Are Fucking Dead

No More Mother Of The Forest. I have finished the recording of Young Punk. And it will never be released. Its a good album but it doesen´t feel like me. And i dont se any future under the name of Mother Of The Forest. So i have decided to quit. But during the recent month i have been recordning some new shit under another name, Ankarkronan. Its more fun to do this than it ever was to do the stuff i did with Mother Of The Forest. I will release an Ep when im done. But you can listen to the first track here :
